Summer Kids Dream Film Series

July 3-4, 6-7, 10-11, 13-14, 17-18, 20-21, 24-25, and 27-28

Joetown Rocks

July 3 and 4

This annual Fourth of July celebration in St. Joseph includes fun for the whole family. Sunday July 3rd come out for kids activities, live music from local acts including The Killer Vees, and fireworks at dusk. Monday July 4th is the annual parade at 10am followed by bingo and games, live music, raffles, and more. Learn more here and have a great time!

Fourth of July Fireworks

July 4

Celebrate Independence Day on the banks of the Mississippi River! Choose between viewing areas at Hester Park or Wilson Park and enjoy live music, concessions, and fun at either location.   • July 29: Bonnie Raitt – Bonnie Raitt will return to the live stage with her national tour Just Like That… this summer with opener Mavis Staples.

Recharge St. Cloud EV Expo

July 9

At the Recharge St. Cloud EV Expo, you can take an EV out for a spin, get hands-on experience with charging, and get a feel for how EVs can fit into YOUR life. VEX Robotics and SCTCC will have a robot demo that guests can try out, pro BMXers from the ATV Big Air Tour will be doing tricks on electric skateboards, bikes, and motorbikes, and enjoy the food trucks! Dirt Track Racing 

Sundays, July 10, 17, 24 & 31

Granite City Speedway is an entertainment facility with a 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval that hosts dirt track auto racing from early May through Labor Day. The track hosts WISSOTA sanctioned Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Mod Fours, & Hornets on a weekly basis. Come out every Sunday evening (weather permitting) for racing action! The races start at 6pm, and they are fun for the whole family. Learn more
 
SUP Yoga Class

July 12

The art of practicing Yoga on a stand up paddleboard offers a greater challenge of balance and awareness than your normal yoga session. The classes are held on a quiet & calm lake perfect for practicing yoga on a SUP board! Reservations are required, and the class takes place at Warner Lake in Clearwater. First Responder Appreciation Event

July 16

Show your support for an hour or the whole day and meet some of the communities’ first responders while checking out some of the equipment they use on the job. All proceeds and donations will benefit the Greater St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation. Learn more here.
 
St. Cloud Pride Paint Night

July 21

Join St. Cloud Pride at Beaver Island Brewing Company for a paint night! Artist Adam Spaeth will be walking the group through a painting of a red panda. The event starts at 6pm and is 18+. Tickets include painting supplies and instructions, and beverages will be available to purchase from Beaver Island Brewing Co. Come out for a fun night of creativity and community! Each summer, Munsinger and Clemens Gardens hosts an art fair featuring artists from all around the state.  Visitors are encouraged to browse and purchase some wonderful pieces of artwork from 45-plus artists.  Also enjoy the music provided on stage and by the gift shop along with wonderful food and beverages. Firefest 2022

July 23

Grab your boots and cowboy hat, country music is coming to Central MN. Firefest 2022 is a one-day country music festival that includes headliners Midland and Lauren Alaina and opening acts John Michael Montgomery, Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, Sammy Kershaw, and Anderson Daniels. This annual concert is held in Cold Spring to fundraise for the Cold Spring Fire & Rescue Department Relief Association. Learn more and get your tickets here. 

Minnesota Mission of Mercy (MnMOM)

July 28 – 30

Minnesota Mission of Mercy (MnMOM) is a community service project that provides free dental care over a two-day period for those facing barriers to care. Any individual in need is encouraged to arrive onsite to fill out the patient form. There is no age limit and no payment will be collected. Translators will be onsite to assist with communication between patient and dental volunteer. Learn more
