September 2022: What’s Happening in Greater St. Cloud

 

Summer may be coming to a close but the events and activities in Greater St. Cloud show no signs of slowing. Have your hoodies on hand, prepare for pumpkin-spiced everything, and get ready for a fun filled September! Weekly live music continues at multiple venues throughout the month, The Ledge has two major concerts, apple orchards are opening, fall festivals are in full swing, and mark your calendars for St. Cloud Pride week. The Play that Goes Wrong

September 8-11 and September 16-19

Presented by the GREAT Theater, The Play that Goes Wrong is Broadway’s funniest smash hit. This award-winning comedy is a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes. There are multiple shows throughout September at the Paramount Theater, get your tickets here before they’re gone!

Caramel Apple Ride

September 10 

Sticky, but fun! Enjoy the fall colors and great apple refreshments at all the rest stops including caramel apples! Spend the day riding the great Lake Wobegon Trail!

Celebrate pride all week long with daily events and activities for all ages! The week includes, Pride Skate at The Skatin’ Place, Pride & Peace walk at the Great River Regional Library, Pride Burlesque Show at the Red Carpet, Youth Pride Dance Party and All-Ages Drag Show at Atwood Ballroom, Pride in the Park and Puppy Parade at Lake George, 21+ Drag Show at River’s Edge Convention Center, and the Pride Parade Downtown St. Cloud – just to name a few. Brett Eldredge at The Ledge Amphitheater

Brett Eldredge isn’t your typical country music artist and The Ledge Amphitheater isn’t your typical music venue – they are both on another level. The Goo Goo Dolls at The Ledge Amphitheater

Flash back to the 90’s and get ready to rock with The Goo Goo Dolls and Blue October at The Ledge. The duo dropped a new album in August but you can be sure they’ll sing those classics that you’ve been revisiting to make sure you remember the words! Don’t have tickets yet? Get there here

Cloud Coffee Fest

September 24

Six of Central Minnesota’s local coffee shops have joined together to present the region’s first coffee festival! Entrance to the festival is free, coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase. The event will also have live music, free kids activities, classes on brewing methods and roasting processes, and attendees will receive a coffee passport for a chance to win prizes! Historic Harvest Fest

September 24

The Stearns History Museum is hosting their 2nd Annual Historic Harvest Fest! This year is going to be bigger and better- with more carnival-style games, a cake walk, games on the plaza, a tour of our Victory Garden, and much more! Central Minnesota Bloody Mary Fest

September 24
