Listen, I can’t promise you that this February will be packed with winter wonderland vibes—who knows, we might be having a beach day at Warner Lake by the end of the month. What I can promise is that February 2025 is FULL of reasons to celebrate—Black History Month, a certain big football game (AKA another Swifty watch party?), Valentine’s Day (2/14), National Tater Tot Day (2/2), National Pizza Day (2/9), National Margarita Day (2/22), And guess what? Sno Days 2025

February 1 at Trobecs Bar-Grill

Vintage Show and Ride, Kids Sled Demo Day, River Runner and Shady’s Marathon Ride. Event starts at 10:00 a.m. and lasts all day! Bring the entire family!!

St. Cloud Mom & Son Super Hero Party

February 1 at Sartell Community Center

Mom & Son Superhero Party gives mom’s and their son’s a special afternoon out together. Your date will include: superheroes, lunch, dessert, a photo booth, activities like bounce houses and a “make and take” – plus memories to last a lifetime. The Mother Son Superhero Party is designed for children ages 3-12, along with their mother figure; however, the event accepts all ages. 

All Shook Up

Feb 1 & 2 + Feb 7 – 9 at Paramount Center for the Arts

A jukebox musical comedy featuring the music of Elvis Presley in a story of romance, rebellion, and rock n’ roll! Filled with laughs, love, and disguises, All Shook Up is loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Combining 25 all-time favorite Elvis hits with a whole new story, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy delivers a message about breaking free from societal expectations, opening up to love, and the joy of embracing change. 

Skiing/Sledding/Snowshoeing Sunday

Feb 9, 16 & 23 at Riverside Park

The Riverside Park shelter will be open for public use on select Sundays from 1p – 5p this winter with the fireplace roaring to warm up between your activity sessions! No registration is required. Snowshoes and sleds may be checked out for free use during this time. Supply is limited and first come, first served; you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, and a form of ID as a temporary hold while using the equipment.

St. Cloud Sportsmen’s Show 2025

February 7 – 9 at Rivers Edge Convention Center

Central Minnesota’s favorite Sportsmen’s Show is back for its 37th Season on February 7th-9th, 2025 at St. Clouds River’s Edge Convention Center! Where you will find the very best in resorts, lodges and camps from the Midwest and Canada.

Taproom opens at noon and will remain open until 8:30ish. Tanya from Betty’s Shrimp Bucket and Grill will be bringing some southern flavor up north with her mouthwatering Jambalaya! Plus Caesar will be on tap!
 

On Tuesday, February 11th, the Paramount Theater will be hosting “Sketches of Minnesota” on their stage. The event is FREE and seating is general admission, but registration is requested.

They talk a lot about “hotdish,” “duck, duck, grey duck,” and “Ope!” but who are we really, Minnesota? Holocaust Survivor Speaks at SCSU

February 12 at Atwood Little Theater

Manny Gabler’s family escaped Nazi Germany by making its way to Italy and then to Shanghai, which allowed more than 18,000 undocumented Jews to seek refuge in the Hongkou area of the city. Living conditions were harsh for the Jewish refugees as well as the Chinese citizens in the area–with poverty, hunger, and death lining the streets. Discover how Manny and his family escaped the ever-expanding Nazi plans to cleanse Europe of Jewish people. This event is free and open to the public on Wednesday 2/12 at SCSU’s Atwood Theater from 2p – 3p.

Calling all flannel-wearing, axe-wielding folks! It’s time to start prepping for their annual Lumberjack Look-Alike Contest! Brewery Bus Tour #9

February 16 at Pantown Brewing Company

Pantown Brewing Company is doing it again! Hop on a Trobec’s charter bus (with bathroom of course) and visit 3 new breweries. Doors will open at 9am and they’ll have Caesar and Beermosa along with other beers available to purchase to get your day started. The bus departs at 10am for Sunken Ship Brewing. They’ll next go to Uncommon Loon and Beer Club in Mora before returning to Pantown by 7pm. Lunch will be served at either Sunken Ship or Uncommon Loon and is included!

Snowshoeing for Beginners Class (Ages 10+)

February 22 at Riverside Park

Experience the magic of winter with this FREE intergenerational program partnership with Whitney Senior Center! Discover the fundamentals of snowshoeing with expert guidance from Fitzharris Ski, Bike & Outdoor instructors, then set off to explore the park and fine-tune your technique! After your snowy adventure, warm up with a cozy cup of hot chocolate by the fireplace in the shelter! Pre-registration is required. All youth under age 16 are required to be supervised by a registered guardian(s). Snowshoes will be available for use to participants at no additional cost.

All Ages Art Day by Tiny School of Art & Design

The Tiny School of Art and Design believes that everyone can play and explore with art. Enjoy free art activities stations where you can discover new materials, refine your art skills, and learn new art games. Various artists will be present to facilitate each activity. This program is made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.

February 25 – 26 at Rivers Edge Convention Center

Central Minnesota Farm Show 2025, Embracing Land, Life, and Legacy: Growing the Future of Agriculture Together. This is a popular community event for Central Minnesota and the surrounding regions. Attendance is free and it is open to the public. The show has over 380 booths available and regularly features 200 agri-business exhibitors. Visitors are exposed to product offers, entertainment and educational opportunities. The Farm Show also awards multiple scholarships to local high school and college students pursuing careers in agriculture related business.
