Sneak on in: Blue Goose is the area’s only speakeasy and it’s a mixture of signature cocktails with flare, prohibition style cocktails and delicious food. While the current Blue Goose Speakeasy opened in 2023, its story is intertwined with the history of the building it resides in and a previous establishment from the Prohibition era. Look for the blue light to know if they are open (and good luck finding your way in).
Speaking of the prohibition era, if you step into Anton’s restaurant, you’ll be greeted with the sound of hearty laughter along with
music from the “Roaring 20s”! Built in the 1920’s by a gentleman named Cy Brick, Bricky’s (now Anton’s) was a speakeasy during prohibition. For many decades after the repeal of prohibition, Bricky’s became a haven for young people to meet and socialize. Head on in, grab a covered wagon table or a patio spot along the river and stay a while.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your time machine (or car) and embark on a retro adventure in St. Cloud!
