Spring is here – at least according to the calendar, the weather hasn’t committed to a season quite yet. Luckily, Greater St. Cloud has endless opportunities for entertainment and adventure no matter what the weather brings! April 4

St. Cloud Area Business Showcase features a variety of Chamber member businesses all under one roof at the River’s Edge Convention Center on April 4, 2023 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The event is open to Chamber members and the public.
Enjoy great food samples, a cash bar, fun exhibitor games, door prizes, and Top Hat Ambassador greeting services! Exhibitors will also have information on hand for open job postings.
 

St. Cloud Norsemen Hockey

April 7 & 8

The Norsemen are a Tier II Junior Hockey team and compete in the North American Hockey League NAHL. All home games are played at the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC) in St. Cloud. Come cheer on the home team and watch some fun hockey action at their last 2 regular season games!

Legally Blonde The Musical

April 7 -9, 14 – 16, & 21 – 23

Based on the smash hit movie, Legally Blonde the Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods from a pink-loving sorority girl to a Harvard law student. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dances – this musical is so much fun it should be illegal. Showing over three weekends in April at the Paramount Center for the Arts. 

19th Annual Eggstravaganza

April 8

Sauk Rapids Rice Community Ed presents – activities for preschool and elementary age children including: Egg dig, egg dyeing, face painting, crafts, bingo… and more! The Granite City Train Show, April 15th, 2023, at the Rivers Edge Convention Center 9am-3pm.

The Granite City Train show is back at the River’s Edge Convention Center April 15th, 9 AM – 3 PM. Vendors will be selling and buying trains, accessories, books, videos, railroad collectibles & memorabilia, antique trains & toys, hobby items and more! Kids can help build a wooden train layout and run a model train. Register to win door prizes, including a LIONEL train set. Test track on site. Wheelchair accessible. Admission: $6.00. Kids 10 and under FREE.

Comic and Toy Show

April 15 & 16

Make sure your favorite superhero costume is ready! A “Comic and Toy Show” is coming to St. Cloud’s Crossroads Mall on April 15th and 16th. The event will be hosted by Quad Con and Granite City Comics & Games with admission free. The show will happen during normal mall hours. The organizers of the show say that it will be low-key on purpose in order to keep costs down and encourage families to attend.

Earth Day Run 2023

April 21 & 22

Friday evening includes a kids 1K, adult 5K run/walk, a 5K corporate challenge, a health and wellness expo, and the 5th Ave. Finish Line Block Party! Saturday morning the half marathon and half marathon relay take place along with the Finish Line Block Party with prizes and awards! All events take place at River’s Edge Convention Center in Downtown St. Cloud. All races begin at the East St. Germain Street Bridge (just north of River’s Edge Convention Center). Independent Bookstore Day

April 29

Come and join us as we celebrate all things books at Books Revisited on Independent Bookstore Day! Local bestselling author Jess Lourey will be signing copies of her books, including Quarry Girls, from 10-noon. Quarry Girls is a mystery/thriller set entirely in St. Cloud in the 1970’s. it has already sold over over 100k copies and is currently nominated for the Minnesota Book Award! Come and meet the author and read some great local fiction. We will also have refreshments, local tea from the Spice of Life Tea Shop, book related giveaways and 20% off store-wide!
