About El Rancho Mañana Campground & Riding Stable

There is so much more to do at El Rancho Manana besides camping! They offer horseback riding, trolley rides, wagonette rides, 26 miles of walking/hiking/biking and horseback trails and much more!

Campground

Offering over 120 grassy, shaded sites for tents an RV’s with sewer, electricity and water available. Enjoy traditional style family camping with all the amenities located on Long Lake. There are 2 main and 3 small bath houses that include 14 showers and are handicap accessible. There are 2 playgrounds and a designated swimming area. The beach also has a volleyball court, boat launch, picnic tables, row boat, canoe, an water bike rentals. Visitors can bring their own boats to tie to the dock for a fee, but dock slips are first-come first-serve. Boats and trailers must otherwise stay at the offsite storage area.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding is available by reservation, and includes a guided walking trail ride on one of El Rancho’s many well-trained, beautiful horses. Riders must be 18 or have parental consent, and lead-arounds are available for riders ages 3-8. Or you can bring your own horses for the day and enjoy 26 miles of trails on over 1200 acres of privately owned wilderness. Horse camping offers electric, water, fire rings, picnic tables and shaded sights. The trails are well groomed, and travel through the great MN forests and plains. There are water crossings, hills, and trails for beginner to advanced riders.

Festivals

Two times per summer, the first weekend in June and the 2nd weekend in August, El Rancho hosts the entertaining Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Festival, along with the Common Grounds Yoga Festival. Weddings are also welcome to book at El Rancho. Rental of the Ranch House, pavilion, 40’x100x activity tent or amphitheater is available. Special theme weekends, crafts, and great kids stuff to enjoy take place all year. Come out to see what 1208 acres of rolling scenic hills have in store for you!
