About Kraemer Lake – Wildwood

Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park contains 265 acres along ½ mile of lake frontage.  Half of the site is identified in the MN County Biological Survey as significant remnant natural community with trees 300 years old.

The Park is open year round from 6 AM to 11 PM.

Directions

From County Road 2 in St. Joseph, Go west onto County Road 51 for approximately 2 miles, the park is on your left.

Cross Country Ski Trails

  • State Ski Pass is required*
  • No parking permit required
  • Trails for beginners and experts

*Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park has a grant-in-aid cross country ski trail. Skiers are required to have the Great Minnesota Ski Pass and to carry it with them. Go to the Minnesota DNR website for information on how to buy a ski pass.

Maple Syrup Operation

Wildwood Ranch Maple Syrup is produced at Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park during the month of March. The syrup may be purchased at the St. Joseph Farmers’ Market, the St. Cloud Farmers’ Market, and the Minnesota Street Market in St. Joseph.
