About Beaver Islands Trail

The Beaver Islands Trail are a staple in the Greater St. Cloud community. The beautiful trail is paved is and covers just over 5 miles. The Beaver Islands Trails stretches along the Mississippi River from St. Cloud State University all the way to River Bluffs Regional Park. Ride your bike, run, or take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the spectacular views on the Beaver Islands Trail! Scenic views of the Mississippi peak through natural wooded areas as this urban oasis opens up to downtown St. Cloud. The trail is open year round so you can enjoy those sunny and crisp winter days and enjoy the shaded path on hot summer days!

The St. Cloud Riverwalk is accessible from Beaver Islands Trail, and spans about a half-mile below the River’s Edge Convention Center over the Mississippi River. It’s worth making the extra effort to reach the Riverwalk, as the views are quite spectacular. Don’t forget to bring  your camera so you can snap a photo on the Riverwalk by the St. Cloud ‘picture frame’ art installation.

No matter the season or the occasion, a walk along the Beaver Islands Trail is an awesome way to spend the day and experience the beauty of Greater St. Cloud!
