A piece of history! This bed and breakfast, built in 1901, was the former home of John Foley, the lumber industry tycoon for whom the town later became named for. In 2007, the current owners purchased the home, and then moved it to their property just outside of town. Beautiful, historic bed and breakfast located in Foley, MN. Positioned on 14 acres on the shores of a private pond called Phantom Lake, the views from this place are fantastic.
The home features 5 unique rooms and many amenities. In the summer, you can paddle around the pond in a canoe or kayak (provided) or o for a swim. Plus, the lake is stocked with fish! Fishing is free for guests to catch and release, or if you choose to keep your catch, rates are $5 per person and $1 per fish kept with a limit of 5 per person per day. Poles and bait are provided and cleaning is available for $1 per fish. In the winter, the home is stocked with books and games, and outdoor winter activities are encouraged (bring your own gear).
The home is also available for weddings, activities, and events such as holiday gatherings and tea parties.
