‘Tis the season to let the beards and bellies grow – it’s time to see Santa Claus! Even though he’s a very busy man this time of year, he has taken some time out of his schedule to plan several different appearances in the St. Cloud area his holiday season. Below are all of the dates and places you can catch up with the man in red – but only if you’re on the nice list!
All season long from November 16th through December 24th (except Thanksgiving) you can find the big man stationed at his North Pole outpost at Crossroads Center. You can make reservations to meet him online here or you can drop in at any time! This full service option takes the pictures for you, prints them for you based on the package you select, and there are even special discount – and pet friendly! – days to choose from.
Not only does this tree farm offer all kinds of winter fun like wagon rides, games, bonfires, and more, but Santa Claus even visits – in a Helicopter! (weather permitting) November 23rd, 24th, and 25th and December 1st and 2nd see the jolly man himself make a special landing at the tree farm. Then he sticks around for pictures, wish-lists and good cheer. Bring your own camera to capture the memories, this option is free of charge. But we do recommend checking out their beautiful tree selection while you’re there!
This visit with Kris Kringle and his Mrs. is more than just a visit, it’s a whole day of fun! December 1st the festivities kick off at the Sauk Rapids VFW at 11AM with kid bingo, followed immediately by visits with the magical Christmas couple at 2pm. Bring your own camera for this special encounter! And when you’re done spilling your deepest desires to Mr. and Mrs. Claus, head to downtown Sauk Rapids for the 11th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights. Sounds like a holiday hotspot to us!
There’s nothing that fills you with holiday spirit more than thousands of twinkling lights on a cold winter’s night – except maybe Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. See it all at the St. Cloud Hospital Festival of Lights on December 6th at 6pm. Not only can you chat with the Mr. and Mrs., there will be horse-drawn trolley rides, holiday carols, and cookies and cocoa for all. Bring a perishable item for the food shelf to secure a spot on Santa’s nice list!
Santa and Mrs. Claus have taken time off from their busy schedule to join you and your family for a winter celebration on Saturday, December 8th at the Lake George Municipal Complex. Create arts and crafts, decorate a cookie, see the reindeer exhibit, enjoy a hayride around the lake and much more, but don’t forget your camera to capture special moments with Santa! Then, just when you think you can’t handle any more holiday cheer, head Downtown St. Cloud for the Winter Nights and Lights Parade, where Santa will also be waving hello to everyone!
Santa Claus is coming to town – specifically, to Great River Federal Credit Union from 9:30 to 11:30 on December 8th! Bring the whole family and enjoy snacks, kids crafts, Marvin the Moose, and get your picture taken with the boss (Santa, of course)! This event is FREE, but it is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local food shelf – otherwise you might just find coal in your stocking this year!
Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be at Minnesota Truck Headquarters from 11AM to 2PM on December 15th. Stop in to enjoy hot cocoa, cookies and pizza with the family! Bring your own camera, skip the long lines, and take Santa pictures for free! PLUS the firs 100 kids will receive a surprise from Santa, so hop in your sleigh and jingle all the way to MTH!
What’s better than an extensive holiday light show timed to music that you can watch from the warmth of your vehicle? Anextensive holiday light show timed to music that you can watch… with Santa Claus and his beautiful wife! Every Friday from November 30th – December 21st, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will make a 6pm appearance for pictures and good cheer at the Rockin’ Christmas Holiday Lights show. Furry friends love holiday festivities, too! CALL AHEAD to reserve your spot on either November 16th, 17th or 18th, then bring your four-legged-fur-ball to the Tri-County Humane Society for a picture with Mr. Clause, Mrs. Claus, or both! Packages are priced at $45 and include portraits on a disk and full rights to share them. There will also be pet-presents for purchase, and – of course – your pet can enjoy cookies with Santa!
