Branson Country Christmas

November 2 & 3

The Jubilee features Branson’s funniest comedian and world class fiddler, Doofus Doolittle! Doof will have you rolling in the aisles with his unique brand of humor and you will be captivated by some of the best fiddle and world class violin music ever. This show takes place at the Paramount Theater and it’s a great way to kick off the holiday season. Get your tickets here and get ready to laugh!

Santa’s Holiday Workshop Craft

November 6

Come out for a fun morning of crafting! Choose between a Winter Wishes sign, Cozy Christmas Photo Frame, or a Buffalo Plaid Gnome – or make all 3! Reserve your table & seat at registration and get ready to create amazing projects with your friends and family. Santa’s expert elves will be on the scene to help you! You can either register for the 9:30am time or the 1pm time, depending on what you prefer.

The Fabulous Armadillos – It’s All About Billy

November 8

Billy Scherer joined the Fabulous Armadillos with his first theme show in May of 2007 entitled “Psychedelic Rock” and hundreds of performances later, he is still here singing as only Billy Scherer can! Billy is retiring from the band, so the best way to celebrate him is by dedicating a theme to him. Billy picked all the songs and all the guests and designed his own “theme” show. It’s gonna be a trip down memory lane with the one and only Billy Scherer and there’s no better way to celebrate that! Get your tickets here ASAP!

The Wild Life Hike

November 13

Join experienced naturalist and nature nerd, Devon Bowker, on a series of hiking adventures focused on forging connections with, and learning about, the natural world around you. On these hikes, you’ll discover hidden creatures, tiny treasures, and countless curiosities! Of course, any other questions or wonders you have along the way are fair game, too! This hike starts at 1pm at Rockville County Park & Nature Preserve. Reserve your spot now!

Holiday Arrangement Workshop

November 13 & 20

Work with a member of the Thomsen’s Greenhouse staff to design & build a holiday greens arrangement, kissing ball or wreath. The perfect way to kick off the holiday season and take home a beautiful accent for your home! There are times available every half hour starting at 9:30am both days, check them out and register online now!

Zonta Christmas House Shop Hop

November 16 – 21

The week will be filled with Christmas displays from local shops, participating discount stores, prize drawings, and even more holiday cheer! Stay tuned for the full list of participating shops, information on how to join in the fun, games, and more! This fun and important event helps to fund local programs which provide support for women and children. Proceeds for this event also support scholarships for young girls and non-traditional female students, other women and youth programs, and global initiatives to end violence against women. The Sound of Music

November 19 – 28

As the most requested show of the annual season survey, it’s easy to see why The Sound of Music enchants both the young and the young at heart. From its premiere on Broadway in 1959 to becoming the most successful movie musical ever, the hills will come alive with beautiful songs that are known and loved by everyone. It’s a thrilling story about family and hope sure to be a hit! Get your tickets before they’re gone!

November 20, 26 & 27

Ho, ho, ho! Santa is making a special stop at Hemker Park & Zoo on November 20th, 26th & 27th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM! Enjoy visiting with Santa & his live reindeer then shop the main gift shop for the perfect holiday gifts! There will be season passes available to purchase, sponsor an animal boxes and more! Bring a Camera to take a picture with Santa. Santa at the Zoo is free with a monetary donation to the Guardians of Conservation. 

Made in MN Expo

November 20

You know your roots. At the Made in Minnesota Expo see which businesses have made their roots in MN! This fun event showcases Minnesota-made items and businesses who are based out of Minnesota. Support local Minnesota businesses at the Made in Minnesota Expo! The fun takes place at the River’s Edge Convention Center on November 20th, and admission is free. The Bernick’s Family Fitness series, through the YMCA, is excited to host the CentraCare Wishbone Run on Thanksgiving morning!
