Whitney Park serves more than 100,000 visitors a year for a variety of activities. Open six days a week, the indoor recreation center includes numerous courts, a climate-controlled suspended walking track and fitness center. The fitness center features a variety of equipment accompanied by locker and shower facilities. Full-service concessions are also available during tournaments and other events.

Whitney Park also features over a mile of walking / jogging trails. The outside loop is 1.5 miles and the interior loop is about .85 miles.
