About Joe Faber & Dick Putz Field – Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC)

Faber Field constructed in 1998 is a more modern field. The stadium is fully handicap accessible from the dugouts to the press box. The large stadium is the home site for The St. Cloud Rox Baseball team of the Northwood’s League along with St. Cloud State University. Capacity of this field is over 2,000. Besides the great grand stand seating area, Faber Field has a very large deck that allows spectators to spread out and watch the game.

The initial baseball field, which is known today as Dick Putz Field was opened in 1971 for baseball. Over the next 40 years Dick Putz Field went under several upgrades and renovations, making it one of the finest fields today. Putz Field is home for the three St. Cloud area high school teams (Tech, Apollo, Cathedral) and the St. Cloud Tech College baseball program. The grand stand and bleachers can hold up to 1,500 people. There are 2 dugouts with back room dressing areas for teams to use. The field has 3 press boxes and a large headquarter building, perfect for tournament administration. A full service concession stand is in the lobby of Putz Field that can offer all the food fans need.

The two full facility stadiums, only 200 feet apart, make for an excellent situation for hosting tournaments, playoff games and state tournaments
