Kids Science Safari

March 1 – 4 at Crossroads Center

The Kidz Science Safari is a mobile, interactive, children’s museum indoor activity at Crossroads Center March 1 – 4 from 11a – 4p daily. It features over 10, “hands- on”, science educational exhibits that appeal especially to children of all ages. Based on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). This is a FREE event.

Back Shed’s Minnesota Goodbye

March 1 at Back Shed Brewing Co.

Their last day of operation in Waite Park will be March 1st. Come celebrate with Back Shed Brewing and their amazing staff for the last three and a half years in this amazing space. The party starts at 11a and goes until midnight. Join them as they go out with a BANG! 

Tiny Tott Time

March 4, 11, 18 & 25 at The Skatin Place

Let your little ones burn off some energy with roller skating, bounce houses and riding toys every Tuesday from 11a – 1p for just $10 at the Skatin’ Place! Tiny Tott Time is open for kids 5 and under. 

Ladies of Laughter

Ladies of Laughter® (LOL) is all about providing funny women the opportunity to showcase their unique styles of humor. Our mission is to encourage and promote new and professional comediennes from all walks of life to share their humor with audiences and help jumpstart their careers. Granite City Train Show

March 8 at River’s Edge Convention Center

The Granite City Train Show includes Model & Toy Trains (all scales), Accessories, Books, Videos, Railroad Collectibles and Memorabilia, Antique Toys, Hobby Items, and More. Plus,  children’s Railway Play Area – Kids can help build a wooden train layout and run a model train. March 8th at the River’s Edge Convention Center from 9a – 3p.

Come learn STEM concepts while having fun! You will be making marble runs out of recycled materials on March 13 from 6p – 7p. For ages 8 to 12. Limit 20. Registration is required.

Downtown Bloody Mary Crawl

The Bloody Mary Crawl is back March 23, 11am-3pm! Come downtown and crawl your way through participating bars and restaurants (and SHOPS!), where you can snag a classic or adventurous Bloody Mary for just $6 at each location. Back again this year is the crawl punch card, available at all locations, complete your card and enter it to win prizes!
 

Maple Syrup Tours at Kraemer Lake – Wildwood

March 23 & 30 at Kraemer Lake Wildwood Park

Tours will include a short walk to the maple forest to see both traditional and modern ways of collecting maple sap with buckets and vacuum pipelines. In the sugar house, the tour will demonstrate how processing equipment like reverse osmosis machines and evaporators are used to convert sap from the trees into syrup. Multiple tour times available, registration is required.
