Moonlight Ski

January 6

Join the annual Moonlight Ski sponsored by the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota and Stearns County Parks! Friday January 6th from 5p – 8p at Quarry Park and Nature Preserve in Waite Park. There’s Free Parking, 4.2 Miles of Scenic Lighted Cross Country Ski Trails, Multiple Bonfires throughout the Park, S’mores, Cookies, Hot Drinks and Door prizes!

January 8, 25, & 22

North Star Curling Club is excited to kick off our first season in St. Cloud thanks to St. Cloud Orthopedics! Join us at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center at 5p or 7p on Sunday’s in January for a two hour session where you’ll learn and practice the Olympic sport of curling. Topics include safety, rules, technique, strategy, scoring, and etiquette. We provide all curling equipment. All you need to bring are some clean, rubber-soled shoes to change into at the arena. Dress in layers – it’s cold in the arena but you’ll warm up sweeping! Concessions including food, soda, beer, and seltzer will be available for purchase.

Wonderland by Collide Theatrical Dance Company

January 12 – 14

The GREAT Theater presents ‘Wonderland” at the Helgeson Learning Lab Theater in Waite Park January 12 – 14. This high-energy show, set to a popular music soundtrack, serves up vivid costumes and dazzling technical dance skills. Wonderland takes audiences on a compelling ride as familiar characters experience mental health challenges and discover friendship and acceptance along the way.

Michael Shynes Album Release

January 14

On January 14th, Michael Shynes will make his long awaited return to the Paramount Theater stage after selling out his first two appearances in the room. Opening the show will be ‘The Voice’ Season 15 runner up, Chris Kroeze (acoustic). Then Michael and his Full Band will take the stage for a night of music and stories with the goal of making this beautiful theater feel like one big living room.

A new local burlesque and drag show is starting up in town at the Red Carpet! Our first show is on January 14th at 8:30p and we would love to see you there! Formal dress encouraged.

Free Winter Chill Event

January 21

St. Cloud Parks and Rec presents Winter Chill, free outdoor winter fun for the whole family at Riverside Park on Saturday January 21 from 1p – 4p! Winter activities include sledding, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, arts and crafts, making smores over the fire, prizes, and much more.

St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour

January 21

This event is a craft beer, hard cider, & malt beverage sampling event at the River’s Edge Convention Center on Saturday January 21st from 2p – 6p. The first hour is for VIP attendees ONLY. The remaining 3 hours are open to General Admission attendees who will receive a sampling mug. This event is in support of the Nicholas P. Koenig HERO Foundation. Shining a light of hope on Families affected by Pediatric Cancer. Event is 21+ ONLY! Must have valid ID!!! No pets or children allowed. No exceptions. 

.15th Annual Sons of Norway Barneløpet

January 22

Free fun children’s cross country ski event for ages 3 to 13. The 15th Annual Sons of Norway Barneløpet will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Riverside Park in Saint Cloud, MN. On-site registration will be available starting at 11:30 a.m., but pre-registration by email or mail is preferred. Youth “races” start at 1:00 p.m. with prizes to all participants! Cookies and hot chocolate will be served amid a festive atmosphere, complete with plenty of food, demonstrations and sampling of Norwegian treats, as well as the Viking Age Club from St. Paul. Like past years, the Barneløpet will bring lots of laughter and smiles from the children… both young and old!

Midnight at the Masquerade Beer Dinner Experience

January 24

Join Pantown Brewing Company and Jules’ Bistro Tuesday January 24 for a one of a kind beer dinner experience! Help solve a murder while enjoying a special four course meal created to be paired with craft beers from Pantown Brewing.

Disney’s Descendants The Musical

January 27 – 29 February 3- 5 & February 10 -12

Based on the Disney Channel Original Movie, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical asks whether we are destined to walk in our parents’ footsteps or are free to make our own choices. The show is presented by the GREAT Theater at the Paramount, click HERE for tickets and showtimes.
