Greater St. Cloud November Event Roundup

While it’s still technically autumn until well into December, it’s hard not to get into the cozy winter (and holiday) spirit as November begins. This month is all about what’s happening on stage and on the big screen, from the St. Cloud film festival to concerts, radio theater, and musicals! Plus, holiday festivities begin with the annual Zonta Christmas House, gingerbread house decorating, Small Business Saturday, and more! November 2-10: St. Cloud Film Festival

Movie buffs unite: it’s time for the 9th annual St. Cloud Film Festival! This event promotes film and filmmakers by creating opportunities for education, production, and appreciation during an annual festival and through year-long outreach. From live action to animation, to documentary to experimental all film makers have a place and a voice at this film festival. November 2: Sherlock Holmes Radio Theater

Join Great Theatre and KVSC – 88.1 FM on November 2nd at 7 PM for the third annual radio play as they broadcast live from the Helgeson Learning Lab Theatre. Be part of the studio audience and hear the adventures of world-famous detective Sherlock Holmes and trusty sidekick Dr. Watson as they outwit London’s most nefarious criminals in a night of twists and turns. November 5-26 (Tuesdays): Michael Shynes at The Pickled Loon

Join local singer-songwriter, Michael Shynes every Tuesday (Oct – Dec) for a Mini Concert Series at The Pickled Loon. Shynes has worked to become one of the most sought-after acoustic performers and songwriters in the Midwest, performing from St. Cloud to California and writing music for a number of other artists. November 14: Trampled by Turtles with Frankie Lee

Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, this beloved folk band has gathered a loyal following – and for a good reason. November 16: The BoDeans
