Nate Abshire started performing comedy in 2009 – what will be called ‘the before time,’ after the global economic collapse. The following year, he finished runner-up in the “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest.

In 2012 he ventured west and was a semifinalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.

In 2013 Nate performed at Laughfest in their “Best of the Midwest” contest finishing runner-up, and by this point, became very tired of losing comedy contests. He gave it another try in 2014 on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” but again did not win.

Since then he has opened for some of the best comics working today, who’s names you would know and recognize AND finally won a comedy contest in 2020 – The Coast to Coast Roast.

Nate released his debut, award-winning album on 800lb Gorilla Records in 2021. Audiences love his sardonic wit, keen writing, and playful stage presence. Nate currently lives in Minneapolis with his cat.

Ali Hormann is a regular at Acme Comedy Company, The Comedy Room at Sisyphus, and Camp Bar in the Twin Cities. She is the co-producer for Don’t Tell Comedy in Minneapolis and St. Paul. She was was first runner up at the House of Comedy funniest person contest on 2021 and a finalist for Acme’s funniest person in 2021. She gets most of her jokes from her three kids.

Matt Dooyema is a proud pet father of 4 from St Cloud. A bartender by trade, Matt’s humor has been influenced by the stories from behind the bartop and the soul crushing realization that his mother was most likely right about not finishing college.
