GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Jason Mraz has recently announced a second leg of “The Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride” tour. The Jason Mraz tour is scheduled for summer 2024, and will include a performance at The Ledge Amphitheater on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Jason Mraz is set to perform a quickstep to Willie Nelson’s “On The Road Again” with his partner Daniella Karagach, marking his fifth week on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”. This season, Mraz decided to take part in the show after releasing his eighth studio album, “Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride,” which marked his return to pop music. The album’s lead single, “I Feel Like Dancing,” encourages listeners to dance with confidence and without inhibitions. According to Mraz, the song is a reflection of his own struggles with identity and self-worth in his mid-40s, and he hopes to inspire others to “dance like no one’s watching”.
Ironically, Mraz’s call to “dance like no one’s watching” has transformed him into dancing while everyone is watching.
Week after week, he has won over an audience of millions, with The Daily Beast declaring, “‘Dancing with the Stars’ viewers
have picked their favorite contestant of the season.”
Jason Mraz’s Upcoming Tour: “The Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride”
Jason Mraz is excited to present his latest moves that will ignite his fans both old and new. “The Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride” tour’s second installment will feature many musicians on stage, including long-time collaborators Raining Jane, Austin-based Grooveline Horns, and guitarist Dr. Molly Miller, performing both new pop songs and Mraz’s classics. The tour includes a performance with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at Red Rocks on July 28th and a comeback to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park with the San Diego Symphony on August 11th.
Mraz reunited with producer Martin Terefe (Coldplay, Train, Mike Posner) on this tour, who previously produced Mraz’s landmark album, “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.” In honor of the 15th anniversary of this album, a deluxe edition of the 3x RIAA Platinum album will be released, which includes a never-before-heard demo of “Lucky,” Mraz’s GRAMMY-winning hit.
