COVID-19 has tested us like never before. We have worked hard to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities safe.
Minnesota is beginning to end the restrictions that were set in the COVID-19 mitigation strategy.
Governor Walz announced the end of Minnesota’s face covering requirement in nearly all settings. Please check rules in individual municipalities or at private businesses.
Effective May 28, businesses will no longer be subject to occupancy limits, distancing or other sector-specific requirements and need follow only the Universal Guidance for All Businesses and Entities.
Minnesota does not require travelers to stay home/away from others (quarantine) for 14 days after coming here from another state. However, it is important that you watch for symptoms, get tested if you do have symptoms, and stay home if you become sick.
