The Wizard of Oz

July 30 – 1, August 5- 8

Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The show takes stage at the Glanville Smith Auditorium at ROCORI high school for two weekends. Get your tickets now for fun for the whole family!

August 3 – 8

The Benton County Fair is back for their annual summer tradition of fun. Come enjoy rides, games, animals, entertainment, food, and much more for 6 days at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Sauk Rapids. Admission to the fair is free and is open from 8am until almost midnight most nights, depending on the live music schedule. Make some plans to enjoy the fair this year!

WACOSA’s Workin’ It 5k

August 7

Take a run for a good cause! This 5K goes around Lake George in St. Cloud, and raises money for WACOSA and their mission to build a circle of support that empowers adults with disabilities. Click above to learn more and get registered!

Enjoy your morning yoga with a side of locally brewed cider thanks to Shanti Yoga Center and Milk and Honey Ciders. All experience levels are welcome, and classes are a $10 suggested donation. Drop-ins welcome, or register ahead of time online.

American classics the Beach Boys will take the stage at the all new Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park on August 11th. Don’t miss this chance to see one of the most iconic bands in music history, right here in Greater St. Cloud. Pantowners Annual Car Show and Swap Meet

August 15

Rain or shine, don’t miss the 46th annual Pantowners Car Show and Swap Meet at the Benton County Fairgrounds. With up to 600 cars, historic displays, motorcycles, and a swap meet with over 200 vendor spots, it’s great fun for both car enthusiasts and the rest of the family! Don’t miss the Fun Run on the 14th too, 6pm at Co. Rd. 138 and 33rd Ave. S. 

Common Roots Festival

August 18 – 21

200+ artists at 11 venues on 13 stages, Common Roots Festival is back! Organizers are excited to continue their mission of supporting and celebrating local music, art, and downtown Saint Cloud, MN businesses in 2021. Show your common roots! Come out to the Clearwater Rodeo grounds for three days of rodeo action! Events include bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bull riding, and much more. With pony rides for kids, live music, great food, and much more, this is a great event to check out with the whole family. 

Rock Your Sole 5K

August 21

Come out for Central Minnesota’s premier trail run, the Anderson Trucking Service Rock Your Sole 5K. Take a leisurely run through Quarry Park and Nature Preserve, with both 5K and 1K options available. Registration is only $5 per person – sign up by August 4th to get a free t-shirt!

The Waters & Wonders of Warner Lake Park

August 21

Join HikeHoppers at Warner Lake County Park on Saturday, August 21st for a day of fun on both land – and water! Spend 90 minutes on a guided hike, then another 90 minutes paddling on the water. Finish with a cool treat and a summer swag bag. A great way to experience and learn about the outdoors with the experts. All ages welcome!

Gilleland’s 35th Anniversary Celebration & Car Show

August 24

Come out to GIlleland Chevrolet to celebrate their 35th anniversary with a car show featuring rare collector cars, live music by “Cruise Control”, food, refreshments, games, and more. The event runs from 4pm – 8pm and it is free to attend, rain or shine.

Paramount 100 Year Anniversary Celebration

August 26

Celebrate a major milestone for the arts in Downtown St. Cloud at the Paramount’s 100 Year Anniversary! Come out for this free community event featuring a comedy show, a brief program, and live music from The Killer Vees. Plus, with food and drinks, demonstrations, artist booths and more, it will be a great evening to celebrate the arts with the whole family.
